Yes. Monarch’s MK-V tractors all have a battery management system. The MK-V’s tractor battery is validated for tough agricultural and land management applications and the BMS has an industry-leading thermal propagation performance.   

 

What is a Battery Management System (BMS)?  

A battery management system (BMS) is an electronic control system that both monitors and actively manages rechargeable batteries, like a tractor battery, to ensure their safe operation, optimal performance, and longevity. A BMS oversees critical parameters including the voltage, current, and temperature.  

 

What are the benefits of a battery management system in a tractor battery?   

A BMS safeguards optimal tractor battery performance and protects the battery from potentially harmful conditions. It also reports the battery’s operational status to external devices and calculates the battery’s level of charge and displays it to the tractor operator.
